I started out doing "Irving" for my co-workers, who were featured in the strip, but over time it became a love affair. (And a great reliever of job stress). I eventually started "Up North" as an experiment, a place to put the side characters and jokes that didn't fit into Irving's universe. I did well over 100 strips between the two... some of which I have put up here.

Some of these aren't that great, some of them are brilliant. You have to remember I did them ten years ago on typing paper with a black marker... no money for fancy drawing equipment... so forgive the lack of professionalism. No matter what; if you ever had to work a crappy job, deal with the public, wear a name tag, or get dirty for a living I think you'll enjoy them.

It's really too bad I never found a way to do this for a living. Any famous cartoon syndicates out there want to pick this up, call me.
